Montessori Continent Resources

The study of the continents starts in the 3-6 Montessori classroom. As a homeschool mom, I try my best to mimic those patterns. We are working on compiling all our information for our continent studies and thought I would share with you the amazing resources I found!

I really enjoy finding wonderful information on the internet. What an amazing way to stay connected to resources from around the world!

Find a Pen Pal

I know this seems a little old school, but kids love getting mail. Connect to one of the amazing parents, teachers, and bloggers from around the world in our Montessori on a Budget Facebook group and ask them to mail you something special from their state or country. You can do the same for their child. We have done this a couple times and it is fascinating. We take time to notice the stamps on the envelops and the details of their mail.

Easy Study Materials

Little Passports is a great way to get world learning to your front door! With programs for 3-5 year olds, this is a great way to get everything you need to introduce continents to your child.

Trillium Montessori has created an AMAZINGLY helpful continent study bundle. At an affordable price, you can create your own Montessori materials for your little one. This laminator will help you do the job.

Inspiration for Lessons

Teaching children about the Earth is so important. We have the ability to mold the future to be conscientious about the Earth and to take care of it to the best of their ability.

After your children master the concept of land and water, it's time to move to the individual continents.
