Want to join our Montessori on a Budget Facebook group! We have over 13,000 members! We share, discuss, and comment on DIY, affordable, Montessori, homeschool, and related activities and materials, including downloads and printables. The Montessori on a Budget group is an educational network of moms and educators who want to implement Montessori in their home or day care environment with DIY and affordable Montessori activities and resources. It was started by Lisa Nolan of Montessori for the Earth, Kimberly Huff of Natural Beach Living, and Marie Mack of Child Led Life in the spring of 2013. It is now moderated by Carolyn Wilhelm of Wise Owl Factory, and co hosted by Montessori-mom Catherine Li and Montessori-educator Meg of Montessori Deconstructed.
Together, the group strives to offer an "open door" policy: no method is right or wrong. We are not anti Waldorf, we are not anti play, we are not anti fantasy; and to stay a member of the group you MUST respect all view points and practice tolerance.
